Cedaredge Mercantile opened in their new building in April of 1998 to the owners Roger & Barb Bynum and Jerry & Pat Ford. Cedaredge outgrew their previous location on Main Street downtown. In this new, much larger location the Meat, Produce, Frozen, and Dairy departments were greatly improved. An addition of Kort’s Deli - offering lunch and dinner specials each weekday. They are able to offer Cedaredge the full service Deli, Bakery, and Pharmacy.
In 2010 the 'Merc" was bought and taken over by Roger and Barb's oldest son Blake and his wife Danielle. At this time we felt that the Foodtown headline better served the idea of providing all available foods to the customers of the area.
Blake, Danielle, and team strive to provide a great atmosphere, selection, service, and local charm to all those who come through Foodtown's doors.
